Ginettas are strong cars !!

Featured Replies

It says a lot for the build of the Ginetta that the driver walked away from this crash at the british GT this weekend. Marshalls on the ball again as well, being strapped upside down in a burning car must be one of the scariest things that could happen to a driver.

Piccies are in reverse order so go to picture REF JEP_418941 & work back, I think its on page 4 or 5 but more piccies are being added so it will slip down the listing. Top photagraphy as well

'kin hell! That would have been a great bit of real video footage. I cannot be bothered sadly, but if you stuck all those pics into a gif generator you could almost make a video.

I went to Oulton Park a couple of years ago, and this Ginettea looked like it needed a visit to DentMaster....

And one of its alloys was slightly kerbed....

Amazing to see someone walk away from a crash like that.

Credit to the marshalls.

Are you going to OP tomorrow Tom? I think you mentioned somewhere you might be?

Spot on mate! Just showed how good the marshalls were. Someone was there within seconds to start dousing the flames and it looked like the driver rolled out the flames fairly unhurt, but also smoking a bit, but was soon also doused out by the marshalls. top work!

Hi everyone just to let you know driver is ok just a few minor burns to his hands and legs and not a lot of face hair left (his words).

I know this as you all know I am one of oulton park marshals. I was marshaling at lodge.

I am tomorrow its going to be intersting tomorrow as its a full race day.

I am proud to say I am proud to be orange (Marshal) as we all work well as a team when the you know what hits the fan.

Sure does look like you have very high standards at Oulton Park, keep up the good work Vikki!!!
