Hi there,

I've recently bought an octavia vRS and im having a small problem with it. I've discovered the boot isn't locking with the central locking, and no amount of key turning helps. I'm currently unable to lock the boot at all!! :(

Has anyone come across this problem before?

Any help will be gratfully received!

It sounds as though something may have come disconnected within the locking mechanism. Take the trim panel off the inside of the tailgate and check the "lock operating rod". If that has become unclipped or broken, the lock will not operate.

Nice one mate, just been out and reconnected the locking mechanism to the servo motor, then a further 20mins trying to get the trim panel back on.
