Octavia RS tuning

Featured Replies

Hi All

I'm new to this site and was wondering if anybody has actually had their RS remapped. Jabba seem to be the main contenders but I would like to hear from someone who has had it done and what do you gain in terms of driveability. Is the fuel consumption hammered? Do you actually notice the difference? I'm not a "boy racer" but do like to drive quickly (where safe!). I suppose another consideration is would a dealer notice when it has its service to keep the warranty?

I'd really appreciate some input on this as lets face it, it is close on

Simon

I'm new here from Subarus and have asked similar questions to get familiar with the options available

If you do a search, there are loads of threads on here about remaps etc. Also, if you go on seatcupra.net, as the engine is the same, you'll find lots of owners comments about APR,AMD, Jabba, etc rechips and remaps. I'm going for the latter soon !

If you're interested then we do a 5hr ignition on trial version of our software, this will give you some time to have a play with a 'tuned' car.

In fact there's a competition running on seatcupra.net at the mo to win a version of our software, you never know you might not have to pay for it!;)

I'm well interested, do you have a dealer in the Midlands?

Do you have performance figures?

Aye, we've got Stealth Racing in Southam. You'd be looking at around 212bhp / 237ftlb.

Have a look at the website for some more info www.revotechnik.com

RevoKev,

I don't suppose you have any dealers/agents in N.Ireland?

We are in the process of sorting out something with triple 7 at the moment, they should be on board very soon!

And London?

Steve
