150bhp on 1.9TDI using PPC fom BSR

Featured Replies

Do anybody have any experience of using the maps from BSR on their 1.9TDI, preferable Octavia? You only plug the PPC into the diagnostic outlet in the car and copy the new map to the chip. The original map can also be stored on the PPC.

Promises 150bhp and 365Nm. Now thats quite an improvement over the stock 105bhp and 250Nm.:D

It's an expensive system but it works perfect.

If your dealer overwrites the tunefile you can allways put it back yourself.

I know one can easily can remap che car again if the dealer changes anything. That is one of the advantages of using this system.

Do you have any exprerience using the PPC yourself?

Any consequences for the DPF if equipped?

I have been loking at the powercurves for before and after remap. The tourque curve is really steep up to about 2100rpm, with a quite narrow top before it plunges down again. Doesn't this indicate a narrow powerband? Though, the torque is i lot higher than before remapping.
