Couple of quick questions

Featured Replies

Should my 10 month old vRS TDI (which I've just taken delivery of) have come with a warning triangle, first aid kit, and fire extinguisher? Manual mentions them.

also

what can I use to remove white polish deposit marks (only minor) from black/grey textured dash surface

Thanx in advance

Mine didn't.

all available at outrageous prices from Skoda accessories no doubt

Chris

Try using some neat shampoo and a soft brush to get the polish off the dash. :)

Mine didn't either

mine didnt either, when i questioned them this it was a ploy by skoda to make you spend more money, so my warning triangle and first aid kit was transfered from my old car to the skoda instead.

My TOTR L&K didn't come with anything like that, all new cars should IMO.

Hope you are enjoying the car

None of these goodies came with my vRS; had to use the ones I have already.

White deposit; Tom_vRs's sugestion sounds good.

Good luck. I'm sure if this is the sum of your problems you'll enjoy the car

You're lucky to get tyres on your wheels! ;-)

No triangle or first aid kit in mine. I put my own poncho/heat blanket (£1 the pair from Tesco), first aid kit with the stuff I know I'll need and use - headache stuff, indegestion tablets etc. No warning triangle yet - probably a good idea, and some hi-vis vests.

I bought SWMBO a nice warm full hi-viz jacket in the event of a breakdown and I keep one in the car just in case.

Not in England. Items are not compulsary (as they are in other countries) so you don't get them. Bit mean really!

That is the common concept (problem) with the most EU cars - all accessories are sold separately, and it doesn't matter where the car is sold - England, Norway or Latvia. Even rear passenger doors for most cars (like vw polo) are considered to be an extra :)

Differently is with the Japanese cars.

Go easy on the neat soap, as it could discolour the dash. Youd be best to dilute it first and then up the strength from there. Use a good car interior cleaner, not fairy liquid!
