Multi-function steering wheel.

How big a job would it be to retro fit a MFSW? Other than the wheel (and a different airbag), the controller and an airbag loom what else would I need?

Not been able to find any wiring diagrams on how it connects to the CD/radio, anybody got one? I already have cruise control fitted but how to connect the wheel buttons to the cruise control?

Anybody got a MFSW on their Octavia as standard? Was it fitted to late L&K's as standard or was it an option?

It is shown in the owners manual and I am sure I have seen in an Octavia, can't remember where though!

Some of the parts are listed in ETOS/ETKA for the Octavia and also for the mark IV Golf. It only seems to come on the four spoke wheel, not the vRS wheel.

My Octavia 1.8 Turbo Elegance 2003 53 had Leather MFSW as an optional extra but the car was made at least six months earlier. The Aug 2003 Price list states MFSW was an option at £350 inc VAT and not a retro fit accessory item. On L and K again it was an option but lower priced. Sorry it is not going to help you much, but its better than nothing perhaps.

Think I will be calling Roadside Rescue (SkoSpares) in the morning to see what they've got.

Thanks for those links, very useful.

I have a MFSW on my 04 Mk1 TDI Elegance SE - the runout model - so it *should* be possible to retrofit.

Could you post a picture?
