I have jut got a Vrs, I am looking at getting the rear anti roll bar and Eibach springs kit, I am also wondering what parts i need to upgrade at the front as I have been told about a weakness to the front wishbone or something :confused: I wont pretend I know what i am on about.

I would like to buy all the parts and have them fitted but I do not know any garages in my area as i have not lived here long, I am in Hemel Hempstead, I can travel but a bit of help on a good garage would be appreciated, as would any info on what on earth the problem is with the front end.

I am loving the car jut want to make it a bit tighter into bends and sit a little lower, happy to lose a little comfort as I was driving a civic type R and that would crash over a pebble so use to knocks and bangs;)

Hi there mate.

Cant help you with garages, but you should be able to fit the anti roll bar yourself with a set of ramps, a hex, spanner and socket set, and a long handle socket.

I did mine myself and I'm not very mechanically minded. Never even changed a wheel! Took me about 3-4 hours though but that included going to homebase to find a tool!

Hmmmmmm a ramp, who so I know with one of them????

In Leighton Buzzard there's VAGtech and TotalVAG who both know their stuff.

Front end problems are with the 'console bushes' - they need replacing regularly or you can fit the SEAT Ibiza Cupra versions which are solid and better. I'm booked in to get just this very job (along with Eibachs, a service, cambelt and a remap) done by VAGtech next week.

I've heard good things about both VAGTech and TotalVAG in LB.

I'm also getting my cambelt, water pump and 40k service done in a few weeks time but at TotalVAG.
