1.4 TDI 75 PD general info, pelase

Hi everybody!!

From yesterday, I am proud to present my Fabia 1.4 TDI PD 75, Year 2004, Elegance equipment, with 50.000 km on a clock (good as new )

I read posts which are covering this engine, but can you just give me your opinion of this engine, and general info?

I see that it is using 6.5 liters on 100 km, in slow slow slow city driving, on motorway, 5.0

I see that turbo kicks in at ~2.100 RPM. and then it is pulling really good, but you quickly need to change gear to higher

Can you help me, and write your opinion on:

1) How do you drive it?

It seams to me that I should change gears on ~2.000, but it feels that car is struggling. Any tips? What is your RPM range?

2) What are common faults with this engine?

Did you have any problems with it? Turbo?
