About springs (-25mm)

Featured Replies

Hello guys,

In my previous thread http://briskoda.net/forums/fabia/should-i-buy-these-springs/105552/ i didn't recieve any answers?

I want to ask you!

My Fabia is wiht 17inches 8J ET 35 O.Z Superturismo with 215/40 tyres!

I am a little worryed, because my mates with standart wheels and tyres, told me ,that the Eibach touches plastics under the fender when they steer full (right left)!

My question is-If i put a springs -25mm on my 17 inches wheels-did they will touch plastics under the fender when I am full steering?

I see on the back fender (where is the exhaus) a little place between the tyre and the plastics?

I am a little confused-sorry for the stupid question (may be)!

But for me is realy important to know, because I want to put springs (-25)!

Too many people here have springs and can post opinion.

Thanks in advance,

(once again sorry if the question is stupid)

Best regards,

Iskren

Don't know what tyres your mate has on but mine's running the eibachs with satndard wheels and they are no where near the arches or lining.

Im running 17's with eibachs on and no problems what so ever

My tyres are 215/40 R17 wiht 17inches 8J O.Z.

Had 17" and eibach drop with no issues what so ever, people lower 35mm and have no rubbing, your mate muct have some fat old tyres!

The tyres are brand new Bridgestone Potenzza PE 50!

Your tires are fine, 215/40/17 are the best size, 205's are too skinny
