S3 lower brace instalation?

Featured Replies

Hi

I have looked in the search but nbot found anything.

I have got the s3 lower brace and am looking at putting it on. I dont have access to a ramp and was wondering if it can be put on by just getting under the car without the wheels being slack?

is it posable to do with just one jack?

i was thinking of parking on the curb and putting some paving slabs under the other side to even it up? is it doable like this?

cheers

should be fine imo. use some axel stands if poss so not relying on jack though.

were can i put the stands so as not to damage the car?

when i did rear ARB i put them under the joints that connect the rear subframe to the chasi. but they were only there incase the jack failed and they were not takin any weight as i didnt think it would do the pins any good? lol

not sure but anywhere that looks solid should be fine. try a block of wood between the car and stand to protect it.

When I did mine I didn't need to jack up the car, managed to reach under the car on the drive.
