Has anyone got any useful information on improving economy? I have just had a 2nd variable service on a 2,0 tdi (140) which has done 50 k miles and I immediately noticed that the fuel economy had dropped though power was good. I know the dealer did an oil change and a motor flush (whatever that is). What are your experiences? I got 63 mpg on a long trip the day before! The econnomy is around 50:confused: mpg once warm at the mo.

sounds strange, have you checked the air filter is in place and no gaps? also does it sound any different?
