Had my MOT today and while i was getting this done i thought id get them to look at some issues iv been having.

Rattle in the dash - They are going to fix it

Both front seats sqeek - Puttin in new seat bottoms

But the biggest one that was doing my nut was the paint work.

At some point the previous owner had the rear quarter resprayed for some reason. It wasnt done through skoda so they had no records of it.

The paint on the very bottom of the drivers door is coming off and between the sill and the rear wheel arch is coming off as well:thumbdwn:

Skoda said that because its been done by someone else its not covered under warrenty:eek::thumbdwn:

Anyway, when i got home i get a phone call from them saying they will do it under warrenty if they can get away with it:eek::thumbup:

I am now a all round happy customer!

Yup, this unfortunately is true. You may have shot yourself in the foot as there probably always dirty mole floating round here :(

Id be suprised as at that age, they would send someone out to inspect it anyhow and at least want photos.

If they try, agree a price before they start just incase.

Personally if you know a good bodyshop I'd get a price from them too.
