Coolant light & ECU light

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Bought my VRS a year ago. What a car. Really pleased with everything. I find that on frosty mornings my collant level light comes on and it beeps 3 times. I've checked the level and its spot on. I spoke to a Tech at Skoda who told me this does happen because the sensor freezes. If your car is under warranty then get it booked in for a new header tank. Also my ECU light has come on ( orange light on dash that looks like an engine side on ). Been advised to get it booked in, which i have. Can anyone tell me if it's okay to keep driving. The Tech said it was but slightly uncomfortable with this. Finally i have bougt some VRS stickers off E Bay. I've stuck them on the front doors just above the black trim at the hinge end. Well worth a couple of quid....look really smart
