New 272Bhp 2.0 TFSI

Featured Replies

Audi have a new 2.0 TFSI that has 272Bhp for the new TTS according to what car magazine.

Could this mean that Seat will adopt this for the Cupra and VW for the Golf GTi paving the way for the Current 240Bhp Cupra engine to be inserted into the new face-lifted vRS later this year:D

Here's hoping so:rolleyes::D:rolleyes::D

Carl:thumbup:

Dream on Carl, dream on! :rofl:

I understand the 265 and higher variants use uprated internals. Still, nice to know the 240 is fundamentally the same, so we are safe in knowing we're not going to punch a conrod through the block! :P

Err not sure thats true... think the S3 uses a bigger fmic.

pretty much every standard cupra has RR'ed at 260bhp anyway

Performance VW did a group test on the Cupra, E30 & S3, and said the S3 had uprated internals. :confused:

They do. They have uprated Engine Block, Cylinder Head, Injectors, Air intake, Exhaust and Optimised Turbo (Thats all according to Audi)

I imagine the difference's will be the same between the old S3 and MK1 octy with the one wont they?
