Hi

My wife has a 51 Skoda Octavia but sometimes the wipers stop in mid-wipe.

manually forcing them to continue makes them go again.

What could be the problem?

I did press the 4 relays under the dash and one was not in properly but the book doesn`t seem to say anything about relays>

I doubt that was problem due to the fact that they went again when moved manually

But I know nothing so any help would be apreciated.

Seized wiper linkage, do they operate at the correct speed?, or a faulty parking switch on the motor - if they don't turn off or park in the wrong position.

they did stop mid screen but guy looked at it and they seem fixed. I think it was a linkage lock up. not sure till I talk to mechanic. Thanks for your reply. Andy
