Hey,

Im just looking for some help as ive been told by local skoda garage that relay part number 7m0 951 253 a has gone. Ths is currently preventing my air con, fogs and rear wiper from working atall. I opted for fitting the part my self as skoda wanted 65 quid. I understand the relay needs to go somewhere under the drivers dash which ive taken off. But cant for the life of me where the said relay is meant to go? could someone point me in the right direction of where it needs to go? or even a piccy so i know what im looking for.

Hi,

There are some fuses and relays behind the panel thats on the end of the drivers side dash, where the door shuts too.

Kneel down in the drivers door and it's right on the end!!

It's a panel that will pop off with the aid of a screwdriver and they are behind there!!

Have a look int he owners manual, there are a few things in there about fuses and relays etc..

Have a look in the For Sale area - I have a relay for sale that could well be the one

its not the one on the end of the dash, the skoda tech advised where it was. I already have the part, its just trying to find where it goes? instructions from the skoda mech was to pop off the light controls and also take the lower dash off so it mustbe under there somewhere i guess... Any more suggestions ??
