VRS seats half leather?

Featured Replies

This may be a silly question but I was under the impression that the interior of the VRS was half leather?:o

Having modified my headrests for monitors it clearly isn't.

Have I made up the spec in my head or is anyone else under this illusion?

Erm.... it is lol.

All the leather you come into contact with is real, other stuff is synthetic :)

I concur that the handbrake/steeringwheel/gearknob is but the grey stuff on the seats is vinyl? I think that's what I was thinking was leather!

They grey stuff is alcantara, but the back of the headrest, the sides of the bolsters on the outside are vinyl

The front of the headrests are the same as the back :) My alcantara is more white-ish:D

This is the stuff in the headrest and is the same as the back of the seat. It makes sense if these parts are fake leather but it looks like all the seat edging with dark grey 'leather' is the same.

I don't think the MK1 VRS was fake?

It's not, well... the parts in contact aren't lol

Pop the gear gator off and have a look at the inside of it. I cut a small sliver of it off and it doesn't look like leather to me.
