Ventilation: Central air vent

Featured Replies

Apologies if this has been already discussed, can't find reference to it.

When having the climatronic set to auto with all vents working, the side-vents in my Scout seem to be putting out much more air than the central one. The only way to get a meaningful air-flow through the central vent seems to be to switch from auto to ventilation directed at your face...

Is this normal? It's quite annoying in the mornings as I end up with one warm & one cold hand .

Yep it's normal :) Turn the temp down so that cold air comes out & your other hand will feel the chill...

...it's something to do with combatting misting - it's in the manual i think.

MPM :D

There was a post on this fairly recently but it's a case of finding the right search words! In the end all replies pointed to what MPM says so all normal.
