Featured Replies

Does anyone know a reputable company in the bournemouth who can repair chips in paintwork? Got a few stone chips in the bonnet and want to get them sorted before they get any worse!!

If you want a body shop, I can highly recommend body care in wimborne.

Also F W Jesty in Christchurch also very high standard:thumbup:

Very expensive there too!!

Westover Body Centre on the Nuffield estate in Poole are also VAG approved and they are the local Skoda dealers associated bodyshop.

I had a bit of a scrape last summer - the guy who did it evaded responsibility so I had to seek repair myself

I had Westover body centre and FW Jesty at about the £700 mark, and a couple of independent bodyshops at £200-300 ish. I went for Courtney body works in Southcote Road - £270 I think, and they did a decent job.

If it is just chips then you wouldn't need the whole lot resprayed though, which is where it gets expensive.

IMHO No No No

I used ChipsAway for my daughters car after some building material hit it.. All done in a day at home. One chap came and did the dent, another then did the paint job. Pleased with the repair and charged only £176.

JUst spoke to the chips away guy. Recommended that I DON'T get them done. Because I have a silver car the best way of removing in them is a full respray! I know that would cost mega bucks so I think i'll have to live with them.

Oh dear:thumbdwn:
