Ricci Concept in Hull?

Featured Replies

Morning all,

Any thoughts, reviews, opinions or experiences with Ricci Concept in Hull?

I would prefer to go to Jabba every day of the week, but a 4 hour round trip is a tad long!

Any help, appreciated, thanks!

Hmmmm, no one used them then? :(

I've used them for a long while now as I've always had Golfs and in fact have used him since he opened. He's ok for servicing/repairs etc and some of the modification stuff, he's fitted a few suspension and brake set ups for me over the years. Like all companies he pushes the stuff he sells and slags off the stuff he doesn't.

What do you want doing.

Hi KR Man,

I need a 30K and 60K service incl cambelt and possibly Koni shocks.

I need to know he does a good job and looks after the car I suppose!

Cheers,

Jon :D

He's always done a good job when I've taken my cars there and if I've been unhappy with anything they've put it right without charge. Pop in and have a chat with Nick who runs it and tell him what you want.

The only thing I would be a bit careful with is that Nick is a qualified VW tecnician but the rest of his staff aren't (I think he's got 3 mechanics working for him now) so just make sure he checks over any of their work.

sorry but qualified VW technician does not mean he's better then any other mechanics.

I have purchased disc and pads off this guy and the lad who own'd the car before me had a service done with them, seem very good.

I'm thinking of getting mine on the rolling road there!

Didn't mean to upset anyone there fella, I was just trying to say that Nick has worked all his career with VAG cars where as the rest of his team haven't.

Well I used him about 4 years ago for a repair to my Audi engine, the t**t left oily marks from his dirty hands all over my beige leather seats, front and rear! ba***rd doesn't deserve to have any business as far as I'm concerned:thumbdwn:
