Hello

In a way I'm slightly glad my less than 1 week old skoda has developed a problem! This seem to be a very useful forum that I would not of know about had It not.

I am now the owner of a Fabia 2 1.9Tdi and have had my glow plug warning light come on just after having done 500 miles! The skoda assistant is already on his way as i'm at work in the middle of nowhere!! But not cut off fromt he internet

Hi welcome to briskoda

This could be a multitude of things and the most common fault is the brake light switch on it's way out (common problem on the mark 1 fabia) but I would doubt this due to the car only covering 500 miles.

Hope this helps mate, keep us posted to what this could be.

Hello & welcome :)

No worries mate, like I said the glow plug light could be anything that genarates a system faul in the electrics, it happended to me a few weeks ago on my Fabia.

The main thing is you get id done under warrenty which is good.

Welcome to Biskoda, I'm loving this new welcoming job I've given myself. Beats real work. Lol.

Enjoy the Fabia. Got a nice engine there.
