Ive been told that my octavia vrs should have twin rear fog lights but I only have one, I have checked the bulbs and connections and was wondering if anyone knew how to activate the other one.

I need this doing as I am in the forces and posted in germany ( I need a foglight on left hand side to work).

any sugestions !!!

The Octavia does have twin rear foglights but they are software controlled. They are usually set up for the specific country the car is built for. A UK Octavia will be coded to only illuminate the offside fog light.

I like a few others on here have enabled the second foglight with VAG-COM which is a PC based tool used to adjust settings and read off diagnostic codes etc.

A Skoda dealer might be able to help you out if you cannot find anyone with VAG-COM.

Beware some cars cannot enable the second fog light because of the software in the car.
