Hello all

I've just bought a Fabia vRS in Corrida Red so thought I best join briskoda

Here are a couple of pictures and will hopefully update with more details shortly about the car and the story behind the purchase. Have a few questions regarding bits and pieces I need which I'll ask about in a later post.

Must have sat around at the dealerships when new for a while as it has the older style rear lights, get them upgraded

Nice motor, the exhaust tip could do with a bit of a polish though.

Cheers guys Have since washed the car and polished the exhaust :P but there is a small scrape on the n/s/r bumper which I need to get sorted - been quoted £160 so far.

Yep it has the old style rear lights, and rear door pins too. The top of the dash appears to be the facelift, new style rear badge and revs @ 70mph - 2,300rpm in 6th gear which I'm not sure whether thats shorter or longer gearbox.

I think I've read about this kind of spec before , yours is not the only car with pre and post facelift bits on the same vehicle! Maybe they were just using up the bits they had in stock at the factory?

Your car will have the newer revised box Shorter 6th gear
