Yep, its taken 3 years to find its way back to the top.

You're unusual zero mileage looks fishy, as there should be at least 2-3 miles on clock even brand new, mine had 14 miles on it, when delivered.

So car just coming up to 3 and half years old with 6,000 miles on clock, seems the lack of usage the problem.

Mine didn't start cracking/perishing until car was just over 4 years old at 40.000 miles on the rear which were never swapped around.

Have only seen 'Continental' tyres on any pre 2008 model across the Skoda range.

I believe the dealer has the option on a new car to reset the speedo to zero once within I think its the first 100 miles, a feature in case cars are driven when delivered to the dealership
