Pistonheads ad

Skoda : Remapped VRS black

Few quotes

IT WAS TESTED ON A PRIVATE ROAD AND IT HIT 140!! BECAUSE THAT SPEED WOULD BE ILLEGAL ON A UK MOTORWAY

IT SPINS THE FRONT WHEELS IN THE FIRST THREE GEARS

Do these plonkers actually think there going to sell a car with a description like this:confused:

Hmm, 180bhp on standard clutch and sounds like it's been thrashed. Don't see that selling too quickly.

What wrong with Oldham.

Some people are quite decent form here. including myself.

Although it is a **** hole and full of waster and down and outs.

My 2ps worth.

Andy

Hey mine had 180+ bhp, standard clutch and had seen 140+ mph. Xavier bought it...lol

Wouldnt touch that with an advert like that!

Yep but yours has/had a hybrid turbo fitted ;)

I don't think anyone over the age of 21 would look twice at an advert on "PistonHeads" and think seriously about purchasing a vehicle would they?

I thought so too, but mine came from PH. You just need to be very, very careful. From what I've seen a good few Briskoda people advertise their cars on PH too. There are dodgy deals on every site, and PH is no different, but I do think there are some genuine cars up for grabs there.

This ad however is completely bogus. He's had it for how long?! Not only that, but from the language he uses he's thrashed that poor Furby. I'd love to take it off his hands just for its own good... maybe set up a home for abused Fabias. :P

Mine also came from a pistonheads advert. I just waited a while for good one to turn up and it happened to be an SE!

it spins in the first three gears and has six gears. well at least he can count, but least he is being honest about it being ragged too ;)

£5350!!

Yet there are others that look a whole lot less dodgy failling to get 6K!! Sigh...

looks like the ads been witdrawn now anyway lol

Sorry... I forgot the link in OP was to the Pistonheads ad. It was also on ebay which is where it fetched the 5350!
