I would swap your oil in say 500 miles proir to conversion anyway. then if any metal bits flying your your engine will be removed with the oil change

I would use it if it is Q8 Formula Excel 5W-40 oil since that definitely meets spec VW 505.01.

I like the millers but if it meets the specs then why not.
