spare parts?

Featured Replies

hi every1

my aux belt tensioner has magically removed all its grooves from the pulley so now the belts hangin off, does any1 have a spare that they dont want/ need or would sell please?

i got a price 2day an its 50 quid, my cambelt, tensioner & water pump was less.

cheers:thumbup:

I had a feeling that my aux tensioner was smooth anyway?

It is smooth, it runs on the smooth side of the belt. You need to find the real reason for it falling off, you mention cam belt etc. - is it related to this been replaced?

Were you driving along and suddenly heard a loud bang, followed by the alternator light coming on, but no other issues? I had something similar with mine, and the bang was the auxilliary drivebelt automatic tensioner failing.
