how do you check if one of these will fit the Fabia vRS's

i thought the ones that come off a golf with bolt straight on??

You need to see the cold side of the turbo properly in order to guage weather it would fit the fabia. You cant see it on this turbo so i wouldnt be able to tell you mate.

This one defo wouldnt fit, as the pipe that runs to the intercooler is straight down not out to the side.

The fabia turbo should look like this,

the one on the right is the standard KKK turbo and the one on the left is a gt1749va with special internals

You can spin the intercooler outlet pipe though, to make it point right down as it should in the fabia. My old VT2 came to me with it pointing right up and it wasn't difficult to unbolt it and spin it through 180 degrees to be correct.

yer but thats just rotating the housing, i ad to do this with mine. Its more of the inlet and outlet to the cold side have to run parrallel. the ones above run at 90deg to each other.

There may be an adaptor out there, but depends how much fannying around you want to do

could you just use a 90deg hose to adapt

Yer its been played with, i think this has been on ebay before because for some random reason the actuator has been bolted to the egr blank :confused:
