Hi all,

have had my fabia 1.9 TDI PD 100 hatch for two weeks now. It an 06 with less than 5K on the clock.

I have noticed that when slowing down in very slow moving traffic in second or first and comming off the throttle on the over run then reapplying very slight throttle the injection system seems to buzz.

Is this a PD trait? It seems to be very noisy.

Don't know about a buzz, but mine will make almost a ripping sound on the over-run if I don't feather the throttle properly. Maybe that's wrong too, but it's always done it and the PD units are known for being pretty noisy compared to CR engines...

Yours is the oil filter/cooler system.

Id guess the 2nd noise is the return from the pressure regulator. (ripping noise).

Not sure about buzz tho!
