I heard that the Octy tour is going to have a minor facelift ( at the same time when the Octy II gets it ) . . .

True or false alarm ??

 Anybody

not sure what your on about mate.

the octavia tour? is that the estate?

i thought the octavia 1 was the old shape that isnt prouced any more?

I would very much doubt it - the tour must sell in very small number and not be worth the investment in re-tooling etc, but I have been known to be wrong in the past - lol

The Octavia mk1 isn't called the Tour in the UK, its called that in the rest f the world (well bar india, and china etc).

And the Mk1 Octavia is still built due to the high demand, although production moved to Vrchlabi from Mlada Boleslav when the Mk2 went into production. Apparently it'll be built till 2010 and it'll then be ceased (though thats subject to a review as far as I am aware).

My dealer told me for the " facelift " that the Tour is going to have ( my dealer loves me:P ), and I didn't beleaved him, but I heard the same from another dealer  . . . Well, it would be nice to do a little facelift before they retire it . . . It is a great car, tho . . .

They had a facelift around 2001.

Can't see them face lifting a replaced car to be honest. It'll steal sales away from the Mk2 if they did.

I can see the rights/designs for it being sold mind, like Peugeot did with the 405, to an Iranian company. As the Octavia Mk1 was such a good car.
