Also as you're only after pads it doesn't matter as the rear pads are the same for vented and solid discs on the octavia.

As others have said - yes they are. Useful tip - look at them. If they are hollow, they are vented :D:D:D:D

Since no-one else has said, a ventilated disc is one with a row of little slots round the rim, between the bright silver wearing faces.
