75bph or 100bhp

Featured Replies

on a 05 reg fabia elegance did they still do the 100bhp 16valvers or was it only 75...?:)

The auto 16v got the 75hp engine. Manual got the 100.

i knew the auto was 74. but the facelift for sure has the 100bhp?

theres a bright yellow fabia estate elegance spec thats all!!:D

and it says its 16v but i know hteres all sorts of powered ones on the same engine.

because the sport was 75 too.

The 75bhp with a manual box was only avaliable in Sport trim.

In Comfort, Elegance and Saloon trim levels it was only avaliable with an automatic gearbox.

If its a manual, and not a sport, then its the 100 engine Leon. :)

If you are going to go 1.4, go diesel. If you drive both you will see why.

The 1.4 TDI is a far nicer car to drive than the 1.4 16v 100 bhp. We have both so I can speak from experience.

I think Leon is limited by price though! ;)

hmmm i didnt really like the 1.4 tdi....

i've had a 1.4 16v in my old car before my 2.0.

im just trying to think what its like again!:)

A bit revvier, and nowhere near as torquey - ulitimately not a lot in it in outright performance though :)

3 gear all the way along the a30 then!

What about another 2.0 then?

I have noticed a few of them for resonable money recently, although probably none about now that you are looking.

Personally I would go diesel, there must be a decent 1.9TDI about for similar money to an 05 1.4 16v Elegance?

i didnt think about another 2.0 just because the tax costs a fortune!

i've seen a simular 1.9tdi with 2k less miles. but its up for 8k!
