Want 17x8, but what offset would i need, and is '215/40' the right tyre size?

Just want more traction and fuller arch.

Standard vrs are 16" and 6.5" wide. I run octy 17's which are 7", tbh mate i dont know what your after, just sound pretty wide

once you figure out what size you want they will look good mate. nice choice.
