got to be lighter i used to work for a firm that made bucket seat (magnum) and carbon and kevalar parts for rally cars , i can make fiberglass panels still but would cost more to make a mould that get a bonnet for my car , and i want a full bonnet not skin any one help me

Yeah - I've been on contact with the person who made mine. You're looking at circa 500 euros for a bonnet shipped to the UK. It will then need painting.

I advise to not go for the carbon gelcoat look as that actually weighs a fair bit. My bonnet came with a thin skim finish, and to look at it from on top, you can not tell it's carbon fibre. perfect.

PS: 5kg weight VS around 20+kg weight.
