Hi from (near) Brussels

Featured Replies

Hi

I live near Brussels having moved from the UK. I have brought my 2002 Octy 2.0 Elegance hatch and registered it here to use as a runaround for my wife. Trouble is that I prefer it to my company Touran even though the steering wheel is on the wrong side so my wife never gets near it!

The car is fine apart from the central locking not working properly. It seems that the system thinks that the driver door is still open when it is closed. I took the door apart but wasn't courageous enough to remove the lock. I then gave everything a squirt of WD40. It worked but then went faulty the next morning. Apart from giving it to a dealer and paying a fortune:rofl:, what should be my next move?

Go to go , some Belgian beer to attend to !

Hi - welcome to Briskoda :)

Suggest you post your locking problem under the Octy section of this site for a quicker response. Hopefully someone will be along soon with suggestions to rectify the situation.
