You could have polished the exhaust Steve!!!

Done now

Gave it a quick wash this morning and another coat of wax. Sooo much easier to do now and looks good :)

Sure is easier once it's been mopped and waxed once, paintwork is so much smoother.........

Excellent guys.

But Baker, now we know the secret of your details !!

The missus does all the work whilst you watch and take pics.

Your not far wrong there mate...............I think not............

My lady works very hard in all fairness and I have just ordered a Megs G220 to support the workload we have and I will be introducing her to the UDM very shortly as she knows what she is doing and what results we need to achieve..........

Great to hear. :)

If you two want to visit Edinburgh and educate my swmbo...feel free. ;)

How do you think the G220 will fair up against the UDM ?

Well having read a lot on the G220 there are a few reasons why I have bought one..........

I bought my UDM back from the USA and obviously have to use a 110V transformer which isn't a problem but the G220 will run of the UK mains so that's one advantage but I have also heard lots of reports stating how quiet the machine runs which I think is a big advantage as I find the UDM loud at higher speeds, I have also read that it doesn't vibrate as much................should have it tomorrow so may use it on this weekends detail but may just stick with the faithful UDM, we will see.........:D

I had my first shot of a PC last week, was surprised at how easy it was to use.

Is the UDM pretty similar ?

Looking good, how come your loosing the workspace ? Moving jobs ?

Yeah they aren't that different to be fair............it's not as hard as you think and after time you just know what combos to use on specific colours and paintwork.............not that I am anywhere near an expert, still learning........;)

Yeah spot on mate, being made redundant would you believe, everyone is here - typical Automotive Industry decisions of moving everything to China, India, Czech where the labour is cheaper, what a bummer, last day at work is a week tomorrow...........already got another job in the same field, little more money and I guess a different end of the market but I won't have the luxury of a lovely warehouse.........making the most of it while I still can.................:P

nightmare... but least you have somewhere to go to. Good luck for the future.

Moving house at the end of May and the new place has a garage, car port and a huge drive so I should be OK, I do have a backup location though............:P
