Right guys, Ive got 2 small gas struts from my mate, ther quite powefull too and want to fit them to obviously lift and hold the bonnet

They already have the ball on each end, with threads on.

Any advice on fitment/postion if people have done it before??

Thinking of a L bracket on each end

the furby boot strut has no rating on the side of it, but as a guide you should be able to put your full weight on it, and it won't compress. The only way I can compress these struts is once they're fitted to a car.
