skoda dealer service prices

Featured Replies

Hi folks i was just wondering if anybody knew how much it would be at skoda dealers for a service on my car. It is a fabia 1.2 htp 03, it has 32000 miles on the clock.

Thanks guys

I suggest that pick up the phone and ask your local dealer. Labour charges vary around the country and, in my experience, even between dealers relatively local to one another.

Ok Thanks A Lot.

This is true - the 20,000 mile service on my car varied by £80 between the Nottingham and Derby dealer! However, both were still overpriced....off to the independant Skoda specialist instead.

I just had my 2004 1.2 (64) Comfort serviced. I did a lot of ringing around, inc. skoda dealers, sister companies and independant. Jewson Skoda in Oxford wanted £260 and the sister and independant co's were not much different. However, with a bit of haggling, Fish Brothers in Swindon did it for £165 inc a free loan car (57 plate Octavia 1.9 TDi)

All it takes is a bit of haggling mate and you could save yourself £95!

I have to agree with the haggling policy ... I managed to get something like £60 knocked off the price. To be honest I hate haggling but when servicing is so expensive anyway it pays to just be polite and give it a go. Goes to show everyone has profit margins that can be squezed. Good luck. :)

I always take mine back there to be serviced, they offer a great service and a good price.

I always try to arange it when I'm visiting family so it's a winner.
