Hi,

Just joined the Forum although have had an Octavia 4x4 1.9 TDI for just over a year now. Have been more than happy with the car and even put the 4x4 to good use in snowy Scotland. I use the car mainly for business and it is great for eating the miles both on minor as well as motorway roads. Only gripe is driver seat comfort which I find a little uncomfortable after an hours driving.

Another reason for joining was I want to install a Parrot Bluetooth handsfree car kit to the vehicle and am having problems finding a wiring loom adaptor to fit that will enable the working of the CD Multi-changer. All the looms found so far do not have the necessary interface. Have any of the Forum members got an idea how I can fix/fit myself?

Hello everyone I decided to update my 2014 Skoda Octavia to a newer age. First changed the MIB1 to MIB2, and then decided to add a rear view camera (there are other projects on the way like MFK1 to MFK2). I want to tell the story so someone else does not make the same mistakes I did. My Skoda never had a camera, so I bought one from a scrapyard, a 3V0827566N without the wiring harness, it scrapped with the body. Hi! I'm in need of some help please. My Octavia estate sat for 8 months unused. The battery went flat (AGM Varta) and doesn't charge. I got the car started with a different battery and then swapped in the dead battery to see if it would start charging. BUT, now the engine was running I needed to move the car a bit and found that the gear stick won't go into reverse gear. It can select 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th but not reverse. I've ordered up a new AGM battery (due in a couple of days) but this reverse

Hi All, Superb 2.8 petrol Mk 3 2018 L&K I am trying to find the fuse for the rear washer pump as the pump no longer works (no noise when rear washer system engaged). The front windscreen washer pump is working ok. I'm hoping that the problem is only a blown fuse but can't find it's location/number in the online manuals I've looked at. Any help appreciated

Hello, Can anyone inform me what should be the correct Front Shock Absorbers to Maintain the spec of Rough road (2UB) on a Skoda Octavia Combi II (1Z5) ? Original Shocks Code: 1K0 412 021 KP I Believe current codes should be : 1K0 413 031 EJ or 1K0 413 031 BL (can anyone confirm ?) Im considering Bilstein but it's hard to find the correct part number for Rough Road. If anyone knows the part numbers of SACHS or KYB also please inform. Diameter of shocks housing = 50 mm Best Regards.
