Hi there folks, 96 felicia lxi estate changed the distributor cap and leads this morning wow what a man. then i tried to change the rotor arm and it wont budge, tried gently prising but wont budge any ideas before the big hammer comes out hahah cheers

Lol... its pretty tight to get off!

What ive done in the past is get a big flat head screw driver and prise it off and you should get it off without any damage!

Yes I had to yank mine hard and move the whole car along with it a bit before it came free. Try get a finger underneath either side and pull straight up.

use a small piece of wood or a hammer shaft to prise against with the screwdriver, saves damaging the edge if the dizzy

According to the Haynes manual some of the rotor arms are FUSED to the shaft...
