nice one, what sort of spec are you getting?

Hi, is the paddleshift an option?

If paddleshift isn't an option, I'm sure a retrofit would be possible ;)

Race Blue Hatch with 18" and Dual Climate. Thought I'd play it safe first time out. :D

Paddle shift is due to follow later in the year by all accounts. And I'm sure I read somewhere that the DSG may find its way onto the TFSi vRS at some point but can't for the life of me find where I saw that. :o:thumbdwn:

i too heard that but i cant find my printout on it either!

must be a conspiracy!!

CR vRS is now listed and priced on Skoda web site

Is it just me, but the figures for the CR engine (on the skoda UK website) seem to be the same as the PD version, is this correct?

hhmm.. tempting indeed... :rubchin:

Yes, it's correct

Yes, it's correct

So what is the advantage of the CR over the PD engine, if the performance and economy are the same?

Going on the specs I can find online the only thing I can see is the CR being lighter.

DSG with paddleshift not til next June after Octavia facelift.

Is this a totally new engine design , no carry over of parts from the PD engines?

When I went to the Skoda Garage today to sort out my finance on my new Octy I got talking to the guy there and he said the Paddle shift is on its way :D

Off topic:

Theres also the Yeti, a Skoda Van!, new superb, facelift for octy and a new 3dr car on its way. Skoda are going strengh to strengh with more range looks to be a good year :D

The 3 door car will probaly be the Skoda badged version of the VW UP!

I am assuming this will mean things like the Superchips bluefin will not be compatible yet for the CR engine

Correct, the likes of revo, superchips and so on will need to redo everything.
