Just in case anyone was about to sell one of their kidneys to buy a D300, walking through T5 this morning noticed that the D300 body was at just over £851 inc VAT. I asked the sales guys in the Dixons shop and they said it wasn't a VAT-free price, so you didn't have to fly to some non-EU country to qualify for the price.

At that price, I was almost half tempted myself :o It's a good £100-150 cheaper than the cheapest internet job with vouchers.....
