After test driving a few alternatives I have ordered a TDi VRS estate at the weekend. Got a great discount after some "apprentice style" haggling.

Race blue, maxidot, sunset glass, rear parking sensors and the "free" extras.

Ordering with the sunset glass has put the car back to build week 20 (but could be beyond this). Do you think mine will be the new CRD engine? If so - i could be one of the first!!!

Can't wait.

Should be a nice car.

just phoned the dealers - car has been put back to build week 25. I reckon this should put me well into the new engine territory - although I will have waited 12 weeks for the car.

Has anyone got a VRS TDi on order buing built sooner than this? Will I be the first?

I ordered my first CR VRS Octavia a couple of weeks ago. That started off at Week 23 and has been put back currently to week 25. Yours could well be the CR 170bhp.
