Having just bought my first Skoda, their are a lot of things I need to learn.

Firstly, where is the connection socket for a code reader on a 2001 Octavia Elegance 1.9 TDI?

And, Where is the AC suction charging connection?

I'm sure someone will know.

The socket you are refering to is directly under the steering wheel and column under dash.

Many thanks to all thos who replied.

Bingo, found the reader socket and A/C connection point.

Do I need a special reader as mine is an Actron CP9175.

Although it says there are no faults, should it show engine readings?

The car seems to accelerate well up to a point when it seems to go flat.#Have had it to Skoda who say they are baffled as no faults showed up on their diagnostics. They say it will cost £300 plus to road test the car to find the problem.

Has anyone had a similar problem?

Never having had a diesel, should I see air bubbles in the clear tube on the left hand side of the engine??

Hello, I currently drive 2021 Superb 3 Sportline 2.0 TSI 206 kW (DNFE) which is equipped with DQ381 DSG. Car is still under warranty. Car currently has covered 120k KM. Gearbox oil was changed at 117 k KM as dealer suggested it might cure the vibration (it didn't), all other service is done in accordance with Skoda maintenance schedule at 117 k. I recently bought a used 2024 (built 2023) diesel Octavia Vrs. Although my phone - Motorola G9play - shows on the Skoda website as compatible with the infotainment system, I have been unable to link the phone after multiple attempts. Has anyone had this as an issue and found a solution?

I have a 2010 Fabia 1.2 and the ODB port isn't playing ball. Tried 2 different scanners and they both fail to auth with the ECU. I initially thought it might be a bad fuse so I replaced num 22, didnt change a thing. Slipped the port out of the dash and made sure that the wires are fully seated in the connector, no change. I've tried with electrics on and also engine on, doesn't make a difference. Does anybody have any suggestions on what to look for next?

I used a copy of this MSTD_EU_SK_P6230 MU0490 if anyone else needs, the site I think I had it from was mibsolution.one is currently down though. I was wary of the copy I had and passage of time, but it worked fine installed, I just have to clear the fault code ( have odbeleven but pro ran out and doesn't cover the adaption by looks of it) Excuse the state of my interior I don't use the car that much and could use a vaccuum.
