Matt Roberts presents live coverage from Shanghai as the MotoGP season reaches its fourth round.

Reigning champion Casey Stoner took victory in China last year, meaning he had won three of the first four races. But the young Australian has found it harder going so far this season. Valentino Rossi was initially critical of the spectacular and state-of-the-art Shanghai International Circuit, but it didn't prevent him from triumphing in the inaugural race in 2005, and the charismatic Italian will be keen to be back on top of the podium after being edged into second place by Stoner last year. British fans will be monitoring the progress of James Toseland, who has made an impressive start to his first season in MotoGP after stepping up from World Superbikes.

Commentary from Charlie Cox and Steve Parrish.
