Featured Replies

well, as the title says...i've got a vrs se, bog standard, with 5k on the clock, and i love her to bits...however, i keep looking at the skoda site for octy vrs...just looking !!so, i thought i'd turn to you excellent peeps for advice do you think i should sell, if so, any guestimates on p/x? *************************** should i go for the octy, if so, why, and which model? insurance/fuel consumption doesn't matter

i look forward to some interesting comments

Im a diesel man so if it were me i'd be looking at the PD170 vrs :)

Very nice

I had a Octy VRS estate as a loan car when me Fabia VRS went in for its 20K service:

Likes:

Quietness

A little more feel at the front end

Nice engine

Bigger

Dislikes:

Didn't feel as quick as my remapped Fabia (Guess they Octy would need a remap;))

Suspension unforgiving - probably more so on the estate - I got the back end to bounce over an oddly camber road junction.

Unless you want a bigger car and feel the need to spend more money on fuel - I would stick with the Fabia or get a nice BMW 123D:)
