  1. Hi we bought a Roomster after test driving both, we found the Roomster to be lighter/airier with larger windows than the Fabuia which we found to be have a closed in feel. We have had the Roomster for a year now and find that the ride is good , higher seating which facilities better forward vision, far more versatile as mentioned in another review, great on fuel (petrol 45mpg) and all in all a great car.
  2. Trevor , Mai, Sarah and Me in Red Rock Canyon

  3. Well here in the Barwick household the excitement is rising we SHMBO and me are off to Vegas for a week. Everything is packed the dog sitter is organised and we cannot wait to get going. We are staying at the Belligo Hotel Cassino on the strip. We are meeting up with some friends who I met years and years ago via the internet he is a expat who moved out to the USA via Canada in the 1960's and now lives in LA. I will be doing a bit of Skoda spotting whilst out there but must report I cannot remember seeing any on previous visits to the US.
  4. Couldn't agree with you more paully the best motor we have ever owned and so versatile
  5. Hope they take notice about of their best kept secret Pauly :sun: But I bet they don't
  6. Love to see a photo claretscout, pritty please, please
  7. Hi SkodETC congratulations on your purchase I think you will find your answer as Colin has a technical page and you will find the info here Roomster Technical Data
  8. Had ours at the end of May it is a the best vehicle we have ever owned.
  9. Oh very nice JimboAS, hope you will enjoy it as much as we have with our Roomster
  10. Blimey I couldent keep it up that long
  11. :wonder: Sorry I wont be there as SHMBO and me are off to Vegas and being a pensioner I have to save some pennies for the trip (so she tells me)
  12. I think it depends what you want the car to do we purchased for its versitility also because we have 2 medium sized dogs and the Roomster gave the space to put them in the back without putting down the rear pasenger seats. For versitility the seats can be put down indevidually or removed completely so you can carry a big load. I have a Roomster 1.2 SE TSI 86ps petrol and find it good on motorways, good acceleration, holds the road like glue and little or no lean when taking corners. I am biased on the vehicle but have no knowege on the desel versions. I would suggest you have a test drive in it and see how you find it, as it is a personel choice and preference I think it is a Marmite car ether you love or hate it, the wife and I love it. Another thing to think about is that the vehicles Skoda are based on VW technolegy and many say better built.
  13. Great to hear it has now at the dealers Paully after all this time a great relife no doubt and it has all the kit you ordered
