Hi, i have a question. I think of installing some extra sound equipment in my Octy 2. I bought sn amplifier and extra speakers, but i have a problem. I have to install also and a 16 mm2 cable for powering the amplifier. The problem is that i don't know where exactly i can fit this cable from the "engine room" to the cockpit. I was looking everywhere and couldn't find a place where i will be able to fit this cable. I just need a small hole to use it for the cable. Can you please help me do this? I will appreciate every opinion and advice. :-) Thanks in advance.

There are some grommets you can drill through behind the battery on the LHD car. Don't know how that helps you if yours is RHD, though.

Hi, i own a LHD car ... so behind (down) the dashboard - above the pedals should be this cable, right ????? What are these grommetsmade from ? Aren't there any plastic or rubber ones ?

The hole through the firewall is up high on the left side of the car, coming out behind the glove box on a RHD car. It is a nice big hole with a flap built into the underlay backing already done for you.

They are rubber seals placed over pre-drilled holes in the firewall. You just pop an opening through with something sharp, slide in the cable, and seal around it with your favorite gooey stuff.

I placed a 16 mm2 about 2 weeks ago.

Get the battery out and like everybody says there are holes behind this battery to pass to the inside of the car. Using a metal wire helps, something like a metal cotehanger.

If you want to go to the trunk you need to undo the sideskirts on the inside. Start with the one on the B style and then you can take the front and back of. The back has a plastic screw under the rear seat. You need to take the side of the backseat off. Just push it on the bottom and then slide it up.

In the front there are a few screws the undo to take the cap under the steeringweel of. All in all it was pretty straithforward.

O and I drive a LHD car, don't know if it is different on an RHD.
