Hi guys, anyone here going to it/been to it before.

I have been a couple of times over the years with my dad/mates and we have always been lucky to be in the right place at the right time, even going by race schedule.

Was looking for best places to park/ view the rally, what stages I can miss to get to the better ones etc, any old timers know any good spots?

Look out for a silver Audi A8, were going in my dads car, gonna try and get the first stage just outside drum then head up to contin for 12. Weather looks good too

Like wise, keep an eye out for me, black 56 plate octavia vrs. Think I will be at stage 2 & 5. Spoke with a few people earlier that we're at the shakedown stage today no snow on stage, cutting up quit a bit.

Condolences to the family of the woman who lost her life today in the tragic accident today.

After being at this event many times over the last 15 years its a catastrophe that this has happened as i know its a very popular event and well run.

Are you unclear on the fact that she died on a special stage rather than a road section?

Ken, I know full well she was killed on a Special Stage, but having experienced a fatallity on a rally personally I also know that this is standard proceedure. It is not something I wish to go through again.
