Track Day Insurance Cover from Sky Insurance!

Featured Replies

Ollie, does the car have to be insured with yourselves to be eligible for track day cover? Also do you need to have an instructor in the car all day to be covered? finally does this single day cover carry a £1000 excess?

I ask because these were all the criteria I had to have last time I enquired for track day cover.

I ran a test quote for myself. I am not insured with Sky; but it came up with cover available, without an instructor but with a £2000 excess on a £20000 motor (my Yeti!). Hope that helps?

Hi James,

the trackday cover is open for everyone, customer or ours or not.

You do not need to have an instructor in the car.

The excess will vary from risk to risk as is dependent on a few factors.

Thanks

Hi,

the excess is right for the vehicle value, is the premium competitive?

Thanks for checking it out and for your feedback.

I like to drive a public toll road in the eifel mountains of Germany. Do you do insurance for such driving which includes 3rd party?

We've been badly burnt on the 'ring before.

Shame the limit is £50k market value, I'm a bit over. :(

We've been badly burnt on our ring before.

Sounds painful!

I'm never worried about me stuffing it but have concerns about the odd tool out there
